Yeh the foundation is there for them to errupt into a massive club. I'd imagine their fans will get frustrated though if they dont go up this year. They are expanding the stadium further next season to make it 36,000. They couldnt even fill the stadium yesterday, they really are banking on promotion.

I was also sat next to a random headcase who was getting way too worked up. At one point he said he was going to phone FIFA and complain about the ref. I swear he was on drugs. He also spat alot when shouting Manky.

Majority of people in the Suthend area go to west ham UNLESS southend are doing well
