You will struggle to get a decent lcd of that size for that price--- you will have to look at paying about 1399 for a 23" jvc which are very good imo

that phillips is ok but you better of trying to get a deal in a small tv shop on a better screen--- jvc, panasonic ans sharp are all better than phillips screens---- for example if you came in my shop and offered 1150 for a 1400 tv i would snap your hand off.....the market is dead at the moment and you can get better deals in shops than you can on the internet.
Yesterday i sold a 2500 tv off display to a customer offering 2100-- we also delivered and set it up for free. If you push for a bargain then retailers will give in-- they are desperate for the business.

JVC 26" D.I.S.T lcd---- similar idea to pixel plus but more reliable --- this has been the best selling lcd where i work--- weve seen hardly any problems on them too
