I just bought the Bilstein Black shocks and Jamex springs from Tuning.
Put it on my other corsa (1.4 Sport).
With them and the 17's it handles better than mine ( i have the yellow Bilstiens) but mine are about 2 years old now.
If your on a budget there good for under 200 quid.

Bilstein - Shock absorbers and Jamex springs - £189.00

Puma - Sports Suspension Kit - £195.00
Who? Crap kit
Gmax - Sport Suspension Kit - £199.99
Crap kit
Jamex - Suspension Kits - £220.00
Identical to Gmax, but an extra £20's worth of crapness
PI - Suspension Kit - £230.24
Keep away
Spax - VSX Fixed Rate Kits - £234.99
Not bad - definately the best so far
Apex - Suspension Kit - £235.00
Not as good as Spax, harsh ride, but cheap and cheerful
Koni - Red Adj. Suspension Kit - £245.00
About the same as the Spax
FK - Adjustable Budget Coilover Kit - £295.00
Ok kit, but they don't fit the Corsa properly...

Eibachs are progressive so they are pretty comfortable when driving normally. Not bone shattering but you will definately notice that the ride is more harsh. And as AdiSRI says, the dampers are adjustable - I also agree with him about getting your parents to buy you the dampers and you get the springs. Either that or ask for money towards them because it will be worth it in the end.
Shocks were £260 for my C - I got 20% off @ the time but I'm guessing that this is probably the RRP now anyway. Should be cheaper for the B. (possibly :look
Springs were £120(ish) I got these before the shocks and I got these fitted cause I didn't have spring tensioners @ the time. Cost £200 all in.

So who makes good shocks? I'm not wasting my time with coilovers as I don't drive a rally car.

Nor do i, but the highsport coilovers can be got at very similar if not less than a set of koni yellow and good sprins and are better imo, so why not get them....

If you drive a rally car then the FK Highsports are definately not for you as they're designed for the fast-road driver.

There are a few flavours of Koni. Everyone say the yellows are good... What about the other ones, bar the coilover kits, all about...
