Bloody hell You could get some leather buckets and the rear bench trimmed to match for that cash.

Thats what im thinking--- the problem is that the only thing that i am a little disapointed with in the mini is the seats--- i feel they lack support when driving hard.

I cant really think of something i want more for the car with 1500 squid than the seats.

Ive already got some small engine mods lined up, and im waiting for delivery on the bmw aero bodykit-- the interior is the last thing ive got to sort---- and these seats would certainly sort it lol

but then i would lose the use of the side air bags---- could create problems for insurance--- and would certainly affect resale value--- the jcw seats are covered under standard 5 year bmw waruntee.

I think these seats are also heated and have adjustable thigh support

If you think about it its not actually that expensive!

A re-trim on a set or seats front and back in leather would be nearly that cost and thats with using the same seats!

So your getting new seats and effectivly a re-trim aswell!

Plus they look mint

Why are you concerned with resale value? Are you thinking of selling already??
Why not just do to your car what you want to do rather than worry about the next owner?

well if they are heated and electric adjustable for that price then it does seem good value, plus the peace of mind knowing your safety features will still be used, and nice, supportive seats, will improve your drive big time

Yeah, go for it. Although it seems expensive by the time you've got some buckets or whatever got them trimmed in leather and then paid the extra on your insurance because side airbags dont work it doesnt work out that much dearer.

To be honest £1400 is a hell of a lot but agreed they do look awesome. If you're worried about resale value i dont think a seat of seats Works or not will affect it that much.

Insurance wont be affected by the seats, you companies dont payout if you fit a sports steering wheel do they?

Insurance would be affected if i installed seats which didnt support the side airbags---- it would increase the chance of me being injured in a side impact accident-- and therefore increase the chance of me making a personal injury claim ----- or thats their story anyway lol

Get the seats, they're perfect.

Also, get the JCW tuning pack, don't bother with the others. With the kit, the seats and the performance pack it'll be a hugely desirable car come re-sale time.

Only thing that might let it down is colour combo. I like it but white wheels aren't to eveyones tast, should have done black/black with silver rims
