Very nice, liking that, elise,s are proper track day cars, wtf are people on about calling a lotus a hairdressers car when they peobably drive a corsa pmsl.
Are the carbon door cards standard?
Wouldnt ruin it with lambo doors imo they are fooking shite, nice car tho, lovin the gt3 too:tumnbs:

Its a lovely car...I think its funny these snotty nosed beauts saying its a hairdressers car...if they knew anything about cars they would be aware the lotus is one of the best track cars you can buy...
they can be picked up 2nd hand for around 12k now...

Yeah totally agree sport16v, if i hadnt bought my flat, i may have even owned one now! Bit impractial as a every day driver though, great for weekends and track use though they do not have a huge amount of power, but they weigh as much as a mars bar! so power to weight ratio is really good.

tbh i am ot 100%sure,weight sounds right, i think the early models were about 125bhp but they increased this in the mk2, and also the special edition exige had more power, they are luurvly!!

That spoiler is just wrong.
Rear diffuser looks cool though
I've driven a normal Elise and that was proper fun. Handles so well and is dead easy to drive.

nice car, but I don't get why he'd have that, then weigh it down with lambo door mechanisms and ICE... just doesn't make sense to me

spoke to him today, told him i posted pics on here (so he has had a butchers)
HEs on about a removeable ICE system, so he can take it out for track days...
BUT (and heres the crazy shit)
You can put an Audi 1.8Turbo lump into these cars, which he has been lookin at doing.. then tuning to around 250-300bhp
fukin nutcase

lambo doors have been done on a vx before
Ive gotta say though, your mate is chaving that elise. The front splitters are ok and the rear diffuser...but the spoiler is purely cosmetic. it also seems that quite a few at bedford though he was quite slow...esp given the aero pack

I'm sure he really aspires to driving a Corsa, though.
I'm really not taking the piss. Honest.
