ive got a 1600 16v sport and all's ive got is a mantzel, ss exhaust, de-cat and when i got the mantzel superchip done at well lane turbo center in leeds it was 137bhp @ 116lb torque (fly wheel) and thats with out cams and pullies and 4 branch ect

yeah there about the same mate, ive had my mantzel for about 12 months now and i just liked the look of them

they have it here, but on the second one down where it says for X16XE it says NON Gsi model ?? does that just apply to the pre-ecotec one (C16XE) ?

i dont know about the c16xe mate, as mine's an x16ex. i think the c16ex one is more exspensive than the x16ex due to you having to buy the extra lower inlet as well in the package

the c16xe is the earleir gsi not the later sport

thats right... well there is an extra bit in the mantzel kit for that engine which replaces the lower inlet

Brosters car is very quick - you can really tell the difference compaired to my Stock GSi.

The main advantage of tuning a 1.6 16 is weight...........

The Disadvantage (when compairing to a 2.0 16v) the 1.6 will never be able to put out the Torque figure of a 2.0 16v

i ran 125.4BHP with just a mantzel.... not mapped, stock everything else... exhaust... etc....

I belive you can run verniers with a unichip, ya dont need omex/dta etc

basically the only adjustment on a cam is from tooth to tooth no inbetween, the veriniers have 4 allen key bolts on them which when loosened allows you to turn the sproket between teeth so its perfectly timed in to optimum running

so u can adjust it in bewteen the teeth sort of? I.E a small amount? (less than a whole tooth?)

yeah i belive so that is the purpose of them, fine tuning the timing to perfection
You can advance and retard the timing on each inlet and exhaust cam
