I reckon your 2.0L prob does 0-60 in about 8.5secs.. so feels quick! Then with you her and the ICE it prob takes that figure down to about 9.5 which is fessy teritory... simple

8.5 seconds should be well quicker than that 155bhp in a corsa should be more lik low 7's if it's lardy

My 1.4 SRi used to keep up with the Fiestas no problem on straights beat one cos the drivers was crap...

My mates C2 GT wastes Zetec-s' all day long!! his GT is 119bhp (110 standard) and weighs only 1000kg but it was absolutley minced by Muppetsports XE

you have something wrong with your car mate

get another XE corsa and do some in gear tests, thats probably the only way you will find out apart from getting it on a dyno

were you spinning the wheels at all whilst racing this fester? I couldnt out pace a 2.0ltr zetec mondeo the other day, but only cos I couldnt put the power down.... Mondeo boy just planted his foot and the car slugged away. I cocked up my launch and spun 1st and a bit of 2nd.... then reeled him back in

what gearbox have u got?

Was engine serviced before conversion?

Have u checked spark plugs etc for incorrect gapping or shite on em?

could be a sensor of some gay sort.

Lee "XE" mitchell may know some common causes?

no offence mate, but it's probably down to your driving. if you've just upgraded to a redtop from a 1.2 you will have tolearn to drive it all over again.
although the fiesta could have a 1700 conversion, or a turbo conversion. unlikely to meet 2 on the same night
