agree, it's a chance thing, you could hold out and the market could drop, but it could also get higher!
I hope it drops or even crashes, coz if it does, we are going to look at buying another house to rent out!

Im going to live at home all my life and tick a Ferarri instead

so true but being as Ally is so young I wouldn't even bother - i'd live at home its much cheaper and with all that money you saving, save up for a nice deposit for a house

I dont want to stay where i am because i live in a house with about 10 other people. Its a massive farm house with loads of land, but i want somthing to call my own because i feel like im scrounging off everyone, and ive always been independent

we've only got another 23 years to go
since we started our mortgage tho, it's gone up £50 a month with interest rates

My 2 bedroom flat in bournemouth cost me and my gf £145k
Is very expensive but it much better than renting as you will be throwing your money away. Basically you will be paying the mortgage for someone else if you rent. If you are going to rent aim to do it for a max of 6 months then buy.

For almost half that up here I can get a 3 double bed flat with huge lounge (something like 35ft long) massive kitchen and roof terrace and integral garage with space for 4 cars - it needs a little work done in it tho but damn its a cool flat

I know tell me about it. The thing is the wages aren't any higher down here either its just a tourist area so it atracts a lot of wealthy people
Its a nice flat with big rooms and only 5 years old but its not worth £145k actually its been valued at £160k now. But the thing is people are still willing to pay this money so not all that bad

this is a pick from our bedroom window, we live in a semi with the flat rafter, not the one with the ^ on the roof!
valued at £125k now, but ones been up for 3 months round the corner at £130k so their only worth what people want to pay
