If they were going to become dated do you not think they would be by now?
Venoms came out in 95 and were the new three spokes in 96. Alessios have been about for aaaaaaaages.

Not really cheap, no different to any other TSW/100+/MiM around at the time.

well i've always thought of TSW being cheap alloys in the first place. 100+ are cheap too.
Speedline are fairly pricey when compared with them.

yes but speedlines have only started to pick up in the last year , theres more shite wheels now so they wont become as popular as they are not what the average boy racer goes for.

speedline allesio's have been a popular wheel with vauxhalls from when they first started making them. my brother wanted them on his nova which was like 7 years ago.
i dont think they will go out of fasion, look at the ronal turbos or ats cups on mk1 golfs, a timeless design and a cult design for the age/style of the car.
they will never go out of fasion.

i see people with them who don't even realise they're an after-market wheel
they won't go out of style as people don't notice them today, they not really a "modified car" wheel.
is like sticking BBS on a golf, every knows its a "safe option" and won't draw unwanted attention

Speedlines have been the wheel for Nova's with standard GSi/GTE kit for years,
I had them on my GTE in 2001 and the've been on my Corsa GSi since summer 2003.
As far as I know there's ony two of us in the Wirral with them and i'm the only one with them on a Corsa

summer 04? a craze?
Whos sack were you still in back in summer 01 (before the no 1 corsa site was launched presumably).
Speedlines have been popular for years, i must have had mine over 3 nearly 4 years now!
To compare them to venoms is like calling them a "craze" completely uninformed!
