i beat that in my fcuked up old red gsi.. 
i theres a lack of power at high rpm, and it doesnt feel like its boosting fully at time.. also the 4wd dont work at the minuite

shame about your time though, 17.5's that's nearly as slow as my Sxi's low 18's

i was there today. my best time was a 17.1 but 2nd and third are are a nightmare to get in!
lost to a saxo vtr
had good reactions tho, .214 was my best and on my first ever time there thought it was ok! i think my clutch is going to die soon
saw quite a few of you there

yeah my mates found it rather funny too! thought i'd blown it up at first but on closer inspection i found the problem lost every race i had, i wasn't amused with my gearbox. i was looking for thundercorsa all day once i'd spotted you!

Nemo - that RX7 took off like a bullet but he broke a short way down the track.. i think it was his gearbox or clutch...
nasty crunching noises each time he tried to put it in gear...
would have been a stormer otherwise

yup I saw it go bang on the line & the rear bumper was rattling when he was trying to select gears
I didnt see anyone except broster here
I ran a 17.8 in my GSi, but I had a shit start & reaction time of 0.73
broster managed 2 17.5's, but he missed a gear on his 2nd run as his linkage went so he couldnt get 2nd
i saw adam_b about, but never caught up to say hi!

nah could hear it tho that it wasnt anythin bad, no clunks or grindings, but was happy when i saw you finish a run afterwards up near the end of the strip!

yeah i was happy when i got it going again just weren't happy with the gearbox and clutch second third and fith gear are usually no where to be seen though

well 1st gear i couldnt find the right biting poiint & was spinning everywhere but eventually got back on track!
i need more practice, but only did the one run didnt fancy waiting an hour n half to run again while queuing!

yeah i had wheel spinning issues! i queued for ages and had 5 runs.
lee: my car really doesn't feel like a 2.0 litre, but every run i had i couldnt get it in 2nd or 3rd (problems with the gearbox)so wasted loads of time. need to get someone to have a look at it!
