buy a trickel charger, my battery charger does it. be carfull not to melt wires tho, so use a low current.
it basically travels up the wires from the battery charger to the battery. dont know if it works on side reps but i know my door popper button works as its ran direct from battery and only has a fuse in the way (30amp) so as long as i dont bust that its just like havving a long wire connected to the battery terminal
i ground it off brake disk, works better ive found

Luke ask Matt H as he had the same issue.
try taking the front bumper off and then going from there , or pop the wheel off and the arch liner and try from there should be able to get an arm in.

I did this, my lever broker and took the wire too far down got underneath and hooked the black wire was hard work tho it's well tough and hard to bend the get the bonnet unpopped especially when you're on your own and the release spring this is nearly seized

time to put a bonnet vent in
you can open your bonnet when you've cut the hole for it...

Get in the car, start her up and drive it to a garage - they'll sort the bonnet a treat.

At least this is a learning experience for him.
I suggest you make a positive lead that runs to the bottom of your engine bay, tape it up and secure it to something for the future.

Or attach a terminal to the end and fix it down to the bodywork.

To short the car out? fixing a positive lead to the car would short the lot out

more secure way would be to install a smaller 12v battery (maplin's do ones for about 20 quid that will hold enough power to pop locks a few times) with circuitry to detect a low voltage on the main battery, to swop over to that to pop the locks

Ok....update!!
I'm still not in
I've tried:
Coat hanger in door (advised by Matt H) Can't do it, obliviously don't know the tricks of the twoc trade
Wiring side repeater up to trickle charge the battery (advised by Richie) Did shit all apart from put all the indicators on for 10 mins
Jacking the car up to either get to bonnet release or alternator to feed power in that way (advised by many people) The car is on gravel which doesnt help jacking and i cant get it high enough to reach alternator and cant get my arm up to pull release
Windows have security tints so dont really want to smash one as it's a pain in the arse to get them replaced etc

Get a screw driver on the rear window seal and tug like a bitch till it comes out, then remove the seal and the window!
Will be a bitch to put back in but will let you in the car at least!
