just keeping it really subtle...

Got GSi front, Stiney sides and rear.
A bit of smoothing and that will be about it.

the rear brakes on a front engined FWD car only do a very small amount of the work regardless of engine size/power/weight

YES!!

Why would you want to put discs on the back?!?!?

Put discs on the back.. brake hard and the rear could overtake the front... then there could be a brown mess on the drivers seat!!
Drums work well enough.

2ltr brakes on the front is enough.
Uprated or V6 is superb.

Granted all the new cars i.e 106 GTi etc have discs on the back..

I wouldnt say it was unsafe tho, not when the drums work well enough.

Wouldnt see the point of converting to disc when it aint going to make much of a difference.

whast the point in putting disks on the back

the fronts do 70-80% of the braking

much better IMO to spend £ on a good front set up than waste it on the back

they still don;t do that much braking. rear discs won't heat up like drums.
