I wouldn't bother getting them unless they were a bells and rotor setup.

If you can't afford them now, wait a month or two.
You'd be gutted to have to spend out more on replacement discs than you would have if you just needed the rotor section.

Plus with just rotors, you can mix and match depending on your mood - get a set of discs for the summer months.

GSi has failed MOT on emissions, miles away from what it should be. Cat alone wouldn't cause those figures, and its smoking a lot, looks like a rebuild is in order. It won't be getting brakes, sorry chaps.

Thing is, I have an XE in a shell, in a garage, which would go straight in.

I also have coilovers, bias brakes etc. which would go on the GSi nicely and make it a lovely car, and if I sold the pre-caged, BAT arch'd shell I could afford Reyland brakes and probably TBs as well at a push if I also cleared my shelves of bits of old SRi that I don't need.

Dilemma.

Put it in the GSi, the GSi looks minted and deserves an XE
