you cna use any one from a vauxahll not fitted with a oil cooler, so any 1.2/1.4/1.6 is fine, just stick soem grip on it gentley and it turns out no porblem, then screw it in to the 20XE and no more oil cooler take off.
the 2L 8v had oil coolers fitted too (mostly)
or you can buy a new one from vauxhall for abotu £3

rhino, your engine looks real we in there. I was so busy at worK today so never really got chance to look at the thread but it sounds correct. I did look into the oil cooler situation and every Vauxhall with this engine does have a listing for the oil cooler. There does'nt seem to be any chassis exclusions or climate exclusions. thanks for everyones help on this it has been a great help.
