iv just told u that i am a 'boyracer' who doesnt drive fast. all my mates do and they never get caught, i drive slow and look what happens.

I have to say that however much it hurts to bite my tongue when I get pulled, I've been let off for stuff they could have completely screwed me over for...
...it's harsh of them I know, and there's a lot of (especially young/new) police who think they're the law and demand respect. But I still think it's worth swallowing your pride as they have the power to completely fuck up your life (as proved).
Sorry to hear about it all though -- all gone a bit too far eh.

Driving slow can easily be considered anti social behaviour, and I suppose they took the route that you were causing alarm or distress to other road users.

If the unmarked car was tailgating you, with main beam on in a generally harassing way, it will have been picked up on the vehicle's camera... That would give you some leverage in court.
Or are you sayin it was CID following you in one of their cars without a camera?

I've never had police do anything good for me. They've never protected me, stopped anything getting stolen or saved my life.
When I've needed a police officer there isn't one - or they turn up 5 hours later, when they're not needed.
When I don't need a police officer they're always there to catch you being drunk and disorderly or speeding

not wanting to go against the trend here (or depend the police, who i find little to respect them for these days), but perhaps it was an unmarked police car on the way to a call out? hence him speeding and flashing his lights, who was then met with a lad drove at 5 mph in a 30 zone, who is known to be a problem driver (not saying you are but you do seem to have a lot of points) who has previously ran a copper over (lmao), tried to avoid being pulled and then got abusive with the police? maybe thats why they got a little pissed off?

police are not stupid and know the law a lot better than you, if you dont respect them they will eat you for breakfast.
You wont win so unless you start playing by there rules you will come off worse. I have to agree with everything Tim has said, you do have to bite your tongue you do have to be very nice to them.
If you dont want to do that then you dont get it your way - simple as really.

how can he do them for harrasment, he broke the law, i.e driving to slow, the pull him over, most people would get a warning and be on your way, or at the worset a producer, but as you give them a mouthfull they are going to pissed off.

im back from court. iv only got a 30quid for it. coppers didnt even turn up. i wish i wasnt lied to before being told that il be gettin points for it, but whatever. thats 3points less i suppose.
i went to pick my car up from the impound, then needed it towing to my unit as it is totally unroadworthy. it needs to get mot'd before it is driven again. they told me i have got at least 6 points for the tyres and might get more. but either way ill be gettin banned cos itl be at least 12points on my license.
all the replies seemed mixed opinions here. i admit i am a cocky fucker who does at times deserve to get done. but they take it too far with me and r really out to destroy my life. but i am not goin to complain, i cnt be arsed. whats done is done now. im jst goin to be off the raod for a year, and then hopefully next year ill be back and avoid all coppers.
but still gutted about it all
