Topshot 2K - You just dont seem to understand it Its loud as feck at the moment, I dont want to sound like some stupid boy racer. I think the sound of a powerful yet well-silenced car is better, i.e a BMW M5 that I heard sounded awesome, VERY quiet yet shifted to buggery!

Magnex do not do a sysyem for a Corsa with 2.25" bore, nor do they do one that straight fits with a Astra GSi 2.0 Manifold on a Corsa, nor do they do one with 3 silencers and std magnex is just over £300 anyhow, plus it would cost me £xxx to get it 'bodged' to the manifold.

Its booked in for 2morrow morning.

Tomas, you don't seem to understand it It's good to have lots of tailpipes and an exhaust that just gives a constant drone at whatever speed you're doing.

Bastuck is the way forward.

4:2:1 manifold, 4" straight through system, no middle box. adds up to 20bhp, minimum of 11bhp and sounds loud as. i highly recomend them.

only regal sell them in england though, there imported from EDS in germany.

Thats the way backewards, im hoping its a typo and it doesnt really have a 4" bore otherwise its going to drive like shite, i.e ZERO backpressure.

I have a 4-2-1 stainless manifold as std, DONT want to remove boxes - I want to add them

I WANT IT QUIET I DONT WANT IT TO SOUND LIKE A CHAV NOVA

Got up at 5:30 this morning to get my car down to PD Gough factory in Nottingham for the new exhaust.

Took them from 7:30 til lunch and the workmanship is emence! TOTALLY different league to powerflow branch in nottingham. They even hand built the silencer boxes!! Even with three silencers though its still louder than I'd like but the noise it makes is a DEEP, tight, powerfull sound which I can cope with - no rasp at all

Here are some pics of what £400.00 gets you...

Anybody interested then please visit http://www.pdgough.com and speak to Tony on the phone. Tell him Tom with the blue Corsa sent you down and he'll look after you, he's said he'd try and cut a good deal for Corsasport members.

Expensive yes but then again you'll always get those that settle for 2nd best

Yes there are hangers, you just cant see them in the photo - sorry it was off the camera fone. 100% 304 Stainless.

Yes its quite a lot but its HAND made from scratch. What do you mean fit the backbox right? Thats how I asked them to position the pipes?

Yup 2.25" with twin 3" tail pipes. Im pretty happy, would have liked the tailpipes angling a tad more horizontal but will take it back to see if they can tweak them a little perhaps.

Oh and car drives SO much better, much smoother acceleration and pulls much harder at top end 100+

I noticed the difference with my powerflow compared to the bodged standard Corsa one that sounded like a wasp in a bean tin. Its a little louder than Id have liked though.

have they welded joints together or have they bent the metal to shape!

the exhaust that came off me orange corsa was all different amgles welded together and i was shocked cos that cost loads!

the one on jagcorsa was less and pipe has been bent so the welds wont break or anything! was just wondering how the place u used do it? iaz

Not sure what your asking Iaz? The pipework is mandarell (spelling) bent, then the silencers are handmade - rolled the sheet stainless, cut the end discs pieces, welded in baffle, added the exhaust wadding etc... Then welded the pipework to the silencers. Cant ever imagine it breaking, normally exhausts break when the rot gets to them but this one shouldnt be rotting.

looks welded to me....but from the pics you cant tell to well

Definately superior to poweflow but i dont think thats worth £400 seeing as its not mandrel bent which would be worth it. Would of got same if not better quality off an off she shelf item from the likes of Magnex, Jetex or Scorpion

All the same though it does look subtle and we all cant account for how it sounds either
