Cheers guys
Yep drew is correct bout the insurance bit it is sooooooo worth it!!!!!!!
Reason for import is obvious really..UK spec 0-60 is about 6.5 secs mine is 4.9..Uk 215 Brake..mine 240.Got AC 4X leccy windows, leccy mirrors better suspension, shorter gear ratio's and more oh and a bigger turbo
They are amaizing to drive slow.. i was driving at 25mph before on an empty road and i could do it all day,Hard to explain if you ain't got one.Zorst is mega loud but more rumbly than noisy.Sounds like fuking godzilla is coming
Optimax it is also Ain't as bad as you would think either if you drive decent and only rag it a bit

Insurance really is all about your perspective on it i suppose. I'd much rather pay 2300 for having the pleasure to drive a scooby, than pay £1336 for a 1.2 8v Vegas when your 17 (That was with a 330 discount for pass plus and was the cheapest i could find!?!). I was also on £3.60 an hour at the time and it was a sizable portion of my wages .
All about how much you earn and how much you want "that" car. If you want it enough, its worth the sacrifices that have to be made .

Colin That ain't far off what my deposit was!
Cheers Mat btw Missed you there!
It is a lot to pay for insurance but my astra in my own name they wanted £900 for Everyone needs to drive my car..the noise alone is worth the cash.

Insurance must like me Al - I was quite surprised myself this year Im sure yours will drop like a lead balloon once you have some ncd
Ive stopped drinking(unless its free) and stopped smoking & taking all the swedge & charlie so ive got muchos cash left over that ive got to spend on something.....cars my hobby IMO why not spend over the odds on it
