i never take my car over 3000 revs when cold. Someone took the piss at work, but well see whos laughing as he has oil in his coolant

if it had a little screen to tell you what to do

My GSi only ever showed me the ligth twice at the pod... but engine was warm & I was seriously ragging the nuts off it

I never did do a fault code reading tho

Never come on since tho & when cold, NEVER goes above 3000rpm either!

Even tho it kinda kicks at 2500rpm & pulls harder when cold, is a weird one! I dont even put the accelerator down any more!

ditto, change gear at 2.5k until engines at 90degrees

This is what I do also

But most of the other lads get in there (stone cold) cars as soon as we clock off and boot it all the way home

Rotarys are meant to be driven for approx 9 miles before going over 5K revs

probably cos the choke is on, thus putting throttle on for you
