How did it catch on fire ????
Official line was that fuel pipe broke and sprayed fuel onto hot turbo. Unofficially, it was sabotaged by Ian and Tim as they had wankel envy.

Sorry mate, I don’t mean to be bring back old memories.......
But I seemed to be on another planet when all this happened.
Did the fire engulf the car, or just part of the Engine bay ????
Was it a write off ????

Car wasn't written off, fire didn't do that much damage. Was mainly a few burnt pipes and wires.

As Ash said , basicly fuel line perished and covered the turbos shields in fuel , beeing hot they ignited and burnt the fuel lines out , minimal damage and cost 250 to repair
