MOT time sucks, I had to put a vtr exhaust on mine last night as I have no CAT and no replacement

My corsa's hazzards used to stick on too, that was because the switch had been pushed back too far, I just pulled it forward with a set of plyers, job was a goodun

failed mine today, handbrake cable frayed, front brake pads are low ( they r stopping me fine atm ) and they broke my headlight as the alignment was out.

also noted that rear access was a problem, bassically they didnt now how to recline my cobras. they r a good bunch and aslong as its mechanically sound they will pass ya.

Mine passed earlier

Guy checked up on the engine emissions rules & it passed fine.

My next problem: I can't find my log book

Gotta go to my local DVLA office tomorrow in Sheffield to get the damn thing taxed

when you come to test emissions on a car you do a basic cat test which yours would obviously fail the computer then makes you do a bigger test where you select make, model , engine but a 2.0xe wont be in the list so it goes to a default test where you get 3.50% like an 89 car if that dont make any sense to you dont worry im an mot tester too my car is an s reg with an xe in

this is the method used to pass mine even though the guy tried telling me my car had no cat or labmda sensor, until i pointed them out to him
