My old wheels too
Yes Nath. Your old wheels! They were due for refurb next week to go on our new Corsa C! Car is insured. Can be replaced. Personal items in the car (including some of lewis's stuff) can't be replaced. Thats what I'm more annoyed at.
Police don't do anything. Called 999 as soon as i realised it was gone, they gave me an 0845 number to call. Finally got through to be told after giving all details "if its found, which it probably won't be, the car will be taken to a compound, checked over for prints etc, and then we will call you and you can come and collect it... but you will have to pay the recovery and storeage fees before you can take it"
Still have a feeling the car is local... possibly even in a garage on the estate. Got a few ideas and possible leads (local gossip though) and will be following them up tomorrow.

After putting my car on the TWOC site today (it got nicked this morning), I spoke to the owner of the site, and said I would put links up on some forums for him.
Not many people have heard of the site (although I remember hearing about it on here a while ago?)
Its a good idea what he has done and the more we can spread the word, the more the site will get used and hopefully some results will be seen in catching some car theives and recovering some stolen cars.
Have put the banners on display on my site. Feel free to copy the url's and post them on other sites.
The service they offer is free. can't complain at that.

My first car got stolen and it has never been recovered. That was almost 3 1/2 years ago. So basically it's vanished from the face the earth Not sure how that happens!

Have done the local scrap yard rounds (know most of them anyway so they have all details and are keeping an eye out)
In the boot were k's old lexus lights off her old Corsa B

Am more pissed about the wheels really (they were k's as well!)

Some Pioneer speakers (again from k's old Corsa!) these were in a bag with the full amp, sub n speaker wiring kit)

and a JBL Bass Pro Enclosed Sub/Amp box (again from k's old Corsa!)

Just realised I never posted to say it was found.
2 miles away from the house in some disused council garages.

(for pics of garages see link below)
http://www.justus3.co.uk/Project_Twoc_rebuild/twoccers_lair/
Car was missing the following parts.
1) all loose bits ie sub, wiring etc.
2) Glove box (with 6cd changer in it)
3) Stereo
4) Alloys (although they did replace them with 4 steelies!)
5) Air filter and housing
6) Full fuel tank and piping (inc filler pipe)
7) Full exhaust up to manifold join.
The drivers door was bent completely out of shape, the wings and new bonnet were also scratched to bits. (see pics in link below)
Since getting it back in June I have fitted a new Gsi full interior (sourced from Paul the admin on Corsa-b and also Broster!), 2 new wings and doors. and have done some spraying of some dashboard parts.
All pics are in here.
http://www.justus3.co.uk/Project_Twoc_rebuild
Car goes into garage next week for the exhaust and petrol tank fitting plus the other minor bits. Then we see if the engine still goes (bearing in mind it was an engine transplant 4 weeks before it was stolen. Hoping engine is ok!)
Good new is that it has only cost me money for the interior. All other parts have been given to me by a friend who owns a scrappy that 2 days after my car was recovered took delivery of a rear end smash Sri in my colour! All the mechanic work is being done at no cost to me as well (another favour owed by a mechanic friend!)
Just need to source some clocks as I have only just realised my ones are fubared.

Hi nath. doing well thanks. Purecarsound is running along sweetly as well! Am local to you so if there is anything you need let me know. Some good deals can be had!
K and lewis are fine as well. Bought K a Corsa C just before my Sri went missing and we have been concentrating on doing bits to that. My Sri is now priority!
C pics are in www.justus3.co.uk/corsa

Sounds nice Nath. Yeah. Have been running www.purecarsound.co.uk (part time) since Jan . It's only taken off in the last 2 months though, several website designs later and several different shopping cart modules to get it all working correctly! Most prices shown are still @ RRP. Working through them all to get them down, but pm/email me for a decent price!
Ps Nath.. also go the window stickers made up now so if you fancy doing some advertising on your car for me........

She goes in on Tuesday for the Mechanical rebuild!
Fitted the new clocks today!
Had a result. Local scrappy (went to get glove box and ignition surround plastics) had just taken delivery of a smashed GSi... inside it were a set of 'white' clocks! I did have a set of standard Gsi clocks obtained from a member on CorsaSport that had 40k on the clock, but these ones from the scrappy had 90k on and when my car was nicked it was showing 84k.
Here is the result.

Took some pics of the exterior as well.

Roll on Tuesday when she goes in for mechanical work!

I'll gladly have some of those on my windows. Happen to have anything for a Seat Ibiza Mk3 in the way of front door speakers?
Drop me a u2u if you like.
