Good point, I though that screens in the drivers view were only allowed to display navigation info and CD player/radio info...

I saw it while it was being built down at Sextons in Southampton - saw the progress from a blue standard car to this - was a brilliant job and sextons really do know what theyre doing with the ICE

Also saw it a few nights back driving around in Soton - so it must be road legal and actually being used now

Rob Quads - did you have the green Saxo??? with the UV front end

its not legal, its classed as an image, just like my rear view camer/mirror, asked a copper the other week n argued with him for a good hour

lol - yup was out for around 1/2h on wednesday night. Mine was the green saxo, now got a 206

Well the MOT man said he'd pass it!

And my mate has had a SVA test done in his 306 with dials on a screen and it went through!

work looks decent and all, but that whole dial things looks seriously bollocks - would have been smarter to have created something that takes the info from the ecu and display it


although i believe there is a very thin line between screens - as you cannot have a moving image being shown which is visible by the driver (ie: film playing on a in dash screen etc), but you can have sat nav <- ive yet to see any law that strictly allows or disallows displayed dials etc
