Indeed JR! Yup, in true pikey fashion! With help from 'Chip' if anyone knows him. The car is budget tastic and I sure as hell didn't want to spend cash on tools that would add up to the value of the car!
I had the tools anyway, so thought Halfrauds should just as well have had them back!! hahahaa
Plan was to drive to Chip's place borrow some tools, sit on his driveway and do the springs.
so we went to his lockup, dragged out some tools, found a corner of Halfrauds (in true pikey style) and did it there.
Chip's driveway was unusable. So he hinted at taking everything down to Halfrauds car park....with the option of buying tools if we needed them and of course cleaning them up and sending them in to get our money back. Which of course we duly did in true pikey style yet again
Got some rather strange looks in the carpark from onlookers as we pulled the suspension apart. A SW region VXLSCC group on their way back from an RR day in Bridgwater parked up and they all came over wondering why we were using Halfrauds carpark to lower this cav.
