I would think it wont though i dont want to get rid of all my games but i also think a 8th console is a bit too much right now so would sell my original Xbox before i got it ONLY if the 360 plays the 1st Xbox's games

some people say that it will play xbox 1 games. However, im unsure how its going to work, as they used an intel cpu and nvidia graphics chipset on the old one - so if it did, then it would do under some sort of emulation (unless there using windows CE, like they did on the xbox 1)

Well Microsoft recently bought the company that writes Virtual PC (to allow you to run Windows/x86 code on a Mac/PowerPC processor).

Guess they didn't buy them for no reason
