I had the 1.4 spi hi torque. Its probably one of the worst engines I've seen. Its so god damn slow its unbelieveable. The thing is you tell people its a 1.4 and people actually think its fast.
ffs its 60bhp how the hell can it be fast

That 82 bhp 1.4 8v lump is quicker than my old 1.2 16v Sxi running 81 bhp ... I remember Mattb leaving my car behind haha... More low down torque as well as power.
