Said i think it was a Total earlier. You then mentioned Esso which come to think of it is.
On the big board they have up it's 81 or something and then on the actual pump it says 35.2.

WTF please step away from the crack and sit down
It's not Fraud, The company made a mistake and Pug Nut filled up two cars and was charged less than normal if it's advertised at a certain price they have to sell you it at that price, Pug-nut probably alerted them to the problem and they will have readjusted it,
If you went into Tesco's and they had a litre bottle of Jack daniels normally £17.99 but priced at £5.99 would you say "oh shit i cant take that it's normally 17.99.. hmm could be done for fraud here"
Would you f*ck you'd be through that checkout and out the door quicker than that poof Dale Winton can say Supermarket sweep

Greg is right they can refuse to sell it to you for whatever reason however if they do sell it to you then it must be at or below the advertised price otherwise the sale is illegal and they can be fined silly money by trading standards
and i doubt they'd be able to refuse a petrol sale as they can hardly ask you to put it back once you've filled up!
If it's advertised at a price they have to sell it at that price thats the law..
If it wasn't the Law Petrol companies could advertise petrol at 30p a litre and Charge you 82.9p
its a common misconception. It it is the wrong price on the shelf and some goes to buy it, the first time they are notified that it is wrong they are able to change it and not sell the product. If they don't change it but refuse to sell it then something happens which means they have to sell it at that price due to knowing about it, the next time a customer tries to buy that product.
Can't remember fully but that was the jist of one of my law lessons last year.

Yes they will know who has withdrawn the amounts but it was the banks fault and not going to chase the customers up

Goddamn, when I get refunds on my credit card, it deducts them from the cashback balance!
