You morons that comment on the RS needing a re-build after 5000 miles need to stop listening to age old rumours and actually OWN one.

They don't need re-builds after 5000 miles, not unless you are running them on cooking oil.

They are extrememly realiable, fast and turn heads and around a track can be faster than bigger 4 stroke bikes.

What peanarse mentioned a VFR 400

They are the biggest pile of monkey shite ever, a RS125 de-restricted and fitted with power valve would be able to keep with one for a short period of time from a standing start.

i used to own 1 and they do need a rebuild ever so often because u need to rev them rather high, but u can do a full rebuild for ur self for under £100

Yes with OJC but it's more like 10,000 miles , about £700 to rebuild if I recall correctly. Although not that I'd say it needed it but more like it's safer to do it than for it to go pop.

OMG I just read the comment about the Impreza keeping with a GSXR1000

Jesus Christ stick to talking about 1.2 8v's and peco exhausts in future.

Do you realise how fast bikes are? They are in a different league to cars, a bike with a single cylinder and 125cc's is capable of 100mph and a average 0-60 of 8.0 seconds FFS, now think of a bike with a engine capacity 9 times the size and think of the possiblitys.

Please if you know nothing keep your mouth shut because you look a twat

They don't tend to go pop after 10,000 but for piece of mind its an idea to change the rings.

NC30 VFR400 is a superb bike and one of the best handling 400 that was about, the RVF 400 (rc30 or 31 cant remember) is even better

still outclased in club racing by the ZXR400 though
