Water is a precious resource, and just wasting it for the fun of it is not good for the environment and shit like that.

Yea ok i get your point but its like saying you have to stop running a bath or going in the shower because that would use the same more a less

at the sake of demoralising you, i dont think people take kindly to being asked "stop having a bath, we're running out of water!". It seems more appropriate to let the daisy's in the garden go a little brown this year.

Yes i know that, and i understand but it all seems a little daft, its like you cant do anything anymore without it getting a ban or something similar

Jesus Christ.
Running a bath does use loads of water, its also fairly necessary. Watering your lawn is not, hence the ban.
Hosepipes use a large amount of water, and lots of people using them uses even more. Economics aside, its in finite supply when reservoirs evaporate so paying for it or not, there won't be any if you waste it.

whats the best way of rinsing a car without a hose? IS it just a chain of buckets. Could try and get away with "its not a hose its a watering tube" probably wouldnt go down well.
Think il wash my car soon as its very dirty and we havent been banned yet
Im in essex (no ban yet) what areas have been banned so far in the UK?
