always been able to read the ecu before AK never been a problem, tbh it needs a new map anyway as its not getting full boost as a result of the FMIC

Not true with VAG adam, you can read the ECU adam as ive done it personally

I might call them up and tell them to stop fucking around and fit a new ecu anyway rather than pay them to stand about staring at its beauty.

VAG parts said they sometimes do them on an exchange basis, they take your old one and give you a new blank one then recode it

thats a possibility, try and find out if you can order it, without actually ordering it as yet. Me being a pain, would like to know ASAP before audi get back to me and bend me over with a hand full of lube.

deffo new ecu, final bill will be 665 quid they are keeping the car and will be ready friday morning all repaired, albeit to standard and in need of a remap They have promised that it will be locked away in the garage also.

jabba remap soon aswell just got off the phone, told him everything sone to it and he said they will do a full custom remap for about 450 quid and it should have about 1.5 bar boost
