Its not about being deluded Oly, its about respecting the club and its aims.
You can argue whether or not the Corsa is the last word in great cars, anyone pretending it is will not make a great case. What I will say is that I enjoy owning mine for many reasons, as do many other people, we have a show presence and good advice on the forum because of a common interest in one type of car.
The majority of comments rubbishing Corsas are posted by people who are so socially devoid that they either like to see their own posts on the screen, regardless of how disliked this makes them, or simple shitstirring.
I've never banned in the past because someone doesn't subscribe to our goals but the way some of the attitudes are going I would consider it. Its basically impolite, rude and unwelcome.

I agree with Ian
And as for everyone on this site hating Civic Type Rs I personally am not a fan but I think its wrong to say people hate civic type r's, i cant pass judgement because at the end of the day i drive a corsa, but i have my reasons for that. What I think is annoying about CTRs is that a lot of the owners seem to think they own a Ferrari , at the end of the day its just a civic, which are driven by just as many "grannies" as a corsa, the type r isnt even rare anymore
Just my opinion

Yeah that Civic thread took the mick a bit, summarised by the fact that a load of Civic owners created a load of trouble and said 'its just a Corsa', when a Civic is again, not the pinnacle of mechanical engineering.

I drove through a council estate in stevenage, was lost on way to my bro's, and I've never seen so many CTRs
Anyway, think slagging off the corsa is just a way to get attention as mentioned above. Sure, I'll be self-deprecating when it comes to my own 44bhp monster ( ) but it's just amusing to me, and at the end of the day it gets me to and from uni (given theres more corners than straights along the way, it's still fun to drive/chuck around without masses of power).
I think in general, for the money you'd pay for one, and the potential they do have, they're actually pretty good little cars.

As said it's about supporting this place....and supporting the whole reason this place is here...
Was all about the humble 'corsa'
no body is saying it's the best car out there etc etc..

When you have a car as clean and tidy as yours Ollie, I think you can look beyond the Brand/Model, and appreciate it as a product of someones hobby. The people who can't see beyond it being a Nova are just narrow-minded fools.
Thats the closest you're ever getting to a compliment from me

Ian, I have an excellent e-mail conversation from today between me and Joff and Ross with me supporting this site against Corsa-B.co.uk, saying what you said about all the little websites starting up for no reason when we already have a very excellent Corsa website here.

Why has Joff gone to Corsa-B?
Has Ross gone too?

i loved my corsa, was my first car, and i spent loads of money on it keeping it running! i have now sold it and already miss it! although it got labeled as a girls car and ended me up at the wrong end of endless mocking i stuck by it and defended it! unfortunatly i needed a slightly larger car as i do lots of motorway miles and feel more comfortable in a astra. I do hope to get another corsa at some point but atm i gettin a astra.
Most ppl rubbish the corsa but you do tend to see more of them about than any other small car or is it just me?
