well the leon cupra r is defo 6. sumthing to 60 and the astra im pretty sure is 7 dead!

i was wrong about the astra i was looking at the wrong info astra is round about 7 secs but the leon is deffo 6.9 secs (7)

koolio, so pretty similar, can the z20let be tuned easily? apparently regal do phases at a reasonable price??

the astra can be tuned easily but so can the leon.had a look on regal there and there prices are not bad

i would go for the astra as everyone seems to be gettin leons...and the cupra R does not look much different from the lower specs most the time

Personally I would take the Leon every time, must be the 225hp one though as thats the one with the big red brembo's
the GSi is a lovely car dont get me wrong, but the Leon is VAG... which means build quality will be much better

My choice would be the Astra - probably going to purchase one at the end of the year, up here they are a lot rarer than Cupra Rs (although they are very tasty looking too)

It handles better at a guess (built around a mk4 golf platform)
It has two more doors ( )
Its faster
Better stopping power
VAG build quality
1.8 20vt lump can get over 260-270ish bhp on the standard internals
