Mine had them when I bought it, it was a low milage 1.2 8v, completely standard. Though I would agree that lowering the car would certainly contribute to making it worse.

Have been quoted £35 per a side and then i have to get it painted.

My old P reg 1.4 had no cracks at all, that had been lowered 50mm on koni adjustables on the hardest setting and that hod no cracks at all.

every car must be different then,

its obviously a fault in the design too!
