Yeah but the best they could do to criticise the Astra was that it didn't ride well - and it has 19" wheels. Its not going to ride well is it.
surely they would understand that though? and isnt the astra is the best equipped out of the 3 ?

I really like the vxr. I fancy one of them in a couple of years when insurance and depreciation allows

Good thing about it being a Vauxhall, they will be no money very quickly.

Great isn't it. As long as you aren't forking out for a new one.

I'm sure last year they had the new Golf GTi and it was slower on the track than a Civic Type R?

Hmm, standard for stanbdard the VXR is only £1k less... leather is an option on the VXR as is sat-nav... also (vibs wont like this) Autoexpress say the engine must be revved heavily to get anything out of it

wouldn't have any of the above but if I had to choose I would go a second hand VXR - loose so much money on a new one
Golf is too common
CTR is not refined enough for my liking
Be interesting to see how the new ST will be

Golf is most certainly not common, they are only making 7000 thousand a year worldwide!

only too powerfull if you try and turn with your foot to the floor. you could say that about a lot of FWD cars. most people do not drive the cars like they do on topgear. it's an unrealistic test of the cars ability.
they should
1/ race each other away from traffic lights
2/ drive fast and then brake at the last moment before a speed bump
3/ drive through town reving the engine
4/ fit a VTA DV, go to a multi story and see which is the loudest
5/ time exposed to danger when overtaking a golf TDi on a country road

Fuk the lor of them! Why have them when you can have a scooby or an EVO
Astra FWD can't handle the power..RS Focus anyone??
Golf is to expensive for what it is....
Megane is ugly as fuk...
There all FWD and the insurance and running costs won't be cheap for any of them!
STI Scooby or Minted EVO 6 TME for me please At least you have the power..the grip and the street cred rolled in already.
