are the imola huggable enough, and are they ok on longish journeys, also whats the driving position like, i.e leg spread and how easy is it to get to the gearstick??

needs to be cobra really as my lovely friends at vaux tec can do me a deal!

broster have you sat in robs seats, are they too tight?

Also what sidemounts did you use for yours ??

so many questions, i have some cobra side mounts, but at the moment i have made some adapter bars to fit them to the original sub frames, bit pikie but will do until i can get some welding cutting done to the floor to fit the side mounts! the imola is a very comfy seat, i find it so much more comfy that the standard sport seats, its hugs you just right and all the control are easy as pie to get to. leg spread is fine due to the low sides, as is getting in and out...this is an issue for me due to the car being an every day car lol! not sat in robs yet.... but he says they are cosey, he only just fitted them last night. i find the material on the imola is alot nicer that the sparco, and the imola feels a lot lighter.....

yep soo many questions!!

Cheers for that mate, it looks like the imolas are the ones then, are yours the kevlar backed ones??

and what price did you pay?

The suzuka and the sparco corsa are a bit too deep for me, as car is used everyday in the summer, and plus the missus will moan

having harnesses full stop makes diving on motorways etc alot harder to look behind, and a roll cage blocking your view makes it even harder! brad, there are only 2 holes on the floor pan for the seats! the front has hooks!

tight, cant see between there and the window, have to use mirrors and head out the window, but i never have my shoulder straps on harnesses that tight!

I think il look into the side to base conversion first before i start hacking my floor pan about!!

just mount htem to the original frames, its very easy, the holes are identically spaces on the sides of the original corsa frames just need some chopping of the height adjuster on the drivers side! ill get some piccies of the ones i have done.......
surely your defeating the point of harnesss if you dont have them tight!?
