Futaba Attack is this bad!?
Your right, i know sod all, i've asked him what else i need to buy to run it but havent got a reply as yet, any help appreciated fella!
In the trade Futaba is highly regarded as the best brand for radio gear! They were the first company to do that kind of stuff to come out of Japan and with their reasonable prices have had the market ever since! The attack is just a basic 2 channel transmitter for cars and boats really! I had one myself! It will do the job perfectly and so long as you dont drop it, run over it or leave it on the roof of your car and drive off (all of these have been known to have happened) it will be fine!
I also have a Futaba Skysports 6 which I use to fly rC planes and that was my Dads and is about 15 years old and is still going strong.
Tell me what you are getting with the car and I will tell you what you need! It may just be a case of batteries and fuel.
If you ever need anyhelp just u2u mate and ill try me best

Need to play about with the position of the throttle on tick over, thats all. Sounds like its being held in the wrong place when it should be idleing .

. Its a pain in the balls. I remeberspending hours messing with my mates to get it working fine, only to find out that we managed to fuck it up, so that when you put the brakes on, it cut out, .
Is it still fairly good practice to set it up on tick over, with trim on full, and then , if you ever need to cut the engine (Like when you manage to flip it ), knock the trim right down, and hold the brake on to kill it?

i had a KO servo too...ps-713, was £40 or something but was great...um...what else...a hudy comm lathe, various chargers, orion cells (i gave up when 3000's became popular), orion motors (i tried reedy T1's, they sucked), was using the take off tyres alot then, and good ol yellow pins indoors

oooo i remember them, fancy looking buggers, kinda similar to the corally tho...*scratches chin*
my proper cars were...
hpi pro2, sold it cos...well it was just worn out after 2 years, needed a full new car!
hpi pro3, sold it after a month, crap car.
losi xxx-s, spent a fortune on graphite kit, carbon shock towers, titanium cvds, screws, hingepins blah blah, got it down to a reasonable weight, and it was STILL crap.
loved the pro2, wish i never sold it, was gonna buy a new one and transfer all the good bits at the time too, wish i did, i'd still be racing.
