Robbo - Put it that way i played it for 2 hrs last night.
1st attempt - 747, sat on runway couldnt move the thing let alone take off.
2nd Attempt - A smaller plane, managed to take off after going sideways via loads of fields and houses.
Then realised i needed more power on left side of plane than right to even out. When in air i was ok but take off and landing was impossible.
3rd attempt - A helicopter, well i thought this would be easy "WRONG" couldnt even take off
4th attempt - Back to my fav a 747, managed to take off after shooting through fields and fields but beleive me this is a very very hard simulator, but at the same time superb !
I can't wait to play it properley and learn more

I love adventures like this, why play a game thats easy and you take off and land without any probs ?? seems pointless to me !
My parents thought they was sitting in gatwick last night I had the volume on full whack and the ATC system is really cool !

Greg, remember you must adjust trim and set flaps accordingly for take-off, and be gentle at V1

David - On a 747 you have 4 main controls (1) (2) (3) (4) Now what exactly does each one do ? when i pushed them all forward it gave me thrust then these section extended, somehow i managed to take off and (1) and (4) i think steered ? any info much appreciated

your joystick should be capable of yaw control, ie, you can twist the handle to 45degrees in each direction. use this to turn whilst taxiing, and use it with ailerons in flight to help turn rate. those controls you speak of are the thrust controls for each engine, and should only be used simultaneously, ie, dont use each engine individually. F1 thru F4 adjusts thrust levels, F5 thru F8 adjusts flaps

Later on im looking forward to my Jetstar A320 flight from Avalon to Sydney in tricky stormy weather that is expected later on in real life.

LMAO is there just!! probably the largest internet multiplayer action in the world. Roger Wilco amongst others hosts thousands and thousands of users at once from all over the world, some are ATC, some are pilots in aircraft, and you can talk to ATC who is actually a real person in Japan if you are flying there, other air traffic is other users flying around the world. its amazin, you get a real sense of size when you fly to different countries
