Nik, what about something HSV? Clubsport R8's are lovely cars, or even a Clubsport DTS , and fucking quick, and there are a few importers in the UK.

or if you are completely nuts, how about the HSV GTS, based on the Monaro

full milteck exhuast and re-map and some other stuff and its running near on 600bhp fast, this thing is mental and Awd(one of the best) plus tv and top spec sat nav with electric recaros and 19"s.

They are just starting to make the saloon now with the new Rs4 and this one will be a M3 better as std with its 420bhp and lighter shell......we'll see.

My friend owns a convertable E36 M3 Evo.

He was lent an E46 M3 convertable, with the Shnitzer (*sp) exhaust pack, red leather, basically all the extras.

It felt a very very similar car to his E36... and wasnt anything noticably quicker.

Lovely looking cars though

The convertivle is pish though Don'ty want an Audi, talk about boring handling agree the RS4 is quick but just no fun IMO The E46 would nail a 36 I think, seen 0-100 quoted as 12.something which isnt shy at all

The E36 evo is less than 1/2 second slower than the E46 0-100.
