, Asda near me has just gone from 89.9 to 93.9 - I got a full tank when they where at 89.9 so if I time it right, I should get another tank in at 89.9.

I always use Shell petrol, not particularly keen on using others.

Esso is ok though?

its not that, its the fact that they dont clean the tanks so all the shoot is in there, where as shell clean theres more often

this may also be the case also tesco asda fuel etc has shit quality additives unlike shell bp esso etc

I don't think supermarket fuel will go below the 90ppl mark personally. The "up to 4p" drop in price will only really effect places where petrol was above 100ppl at the beginning of this week. Our petrol here has droped from 94.9ppl to 92.9ppl and I can't see it going lower.

Although ask Scotty2003 on here, he's a Tesco PFS manager now

do you have proof of this??
also, fuel you find at supermarkets is IDENTICAL to fuel from Shell, BP, Esso, so none of this additives BS please

Supermarket fuel has very liitle added addatives and there buyers are instructed to source the cheapist fuel. and to back this up my family have been in the oil industry for 30 years and myself worked in the food retail supermarket world for 7 years. apparently 'quote apparently!!!!' i was told that the reason why supermarket petrol is crap is because they add additives to it to basically turn 100 litres of petrol in to 150 litres of petrol etc..so they get more money out of it.thats what i heard anyways but to be honest i dont care i just go to petrol station and pay the price they want because at the end of the day it could be worse!and we need petrol
