jap is same software as uk now anyway, migt even be pre installed depending on production date.

You can store things like Pictures and music on the PSP yes I beleive however have never used this function...
I have had a black one for months now...got mine of Ebay from Japan...there a great bit of kit...but as has been mentioned the games arnt the best at the moment...im waiting for ISS to be brought out as with the Wi-Fi function I can see that being so much fun playing against a mate...
The UMD movies again are excellent...great quality...the sound quality using the headphones (included) is great also...

i was goin to buy iss with the machine if i bought it, in jap but not too bothered, bought japanese iss's before.
hmmm shud i shudnt i......
wot other features do they have?
aint clued up anymore on games

Go on the sony website and read it you lazy git...
You can browse the web with them fine...they have a MAC address...errr...theres other stuff but as I said I only use mine to play games and watch movies...
The movies can be downloaded onto the PSP i know that...

You can watch mpgs on it I have seen a mates one doing that...so presume avi works...

Im not sure but I have seen non-sony memory cards that are meant to be compatible on Ebay...to be honest though you can buy the duo memory cards with loads of memory on...seen 1GB ones on ebay....for under £20...

no.........ps uses duo/s i got normal bigger ones, jus wonderin if can stil use the normal longer ones. dont mind it the stick sticks out

I would say NO then as the duo sticks kinda clip in when you insert them...there spring loaded so you push it in to pop it back out again...
If you get me...a bigger card wouldnt fit...

yeah can only use duo memery sticks cant use the older ones although if you really want to there is a hack you can use meens opening the case up though and adjusting a few things.

You can downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5 now and use all the extras till 2.0 is fully cracked.
