the dbillas pulley kit costs me the same as this 1 pulley costed me.. dont have an exhaustpulley so the choice is quite easy..

gettin the dbillas kit for about 150 euro most kits like vernier / bdp etc. cost around 300 euro per set

and dbillas will visit the Essen Motor-show where our club is visiting.. so easy to buy without addit costs and discount

@corsa808:

Im not selling the red inletpulley until i have compared it with the dbilas kit

if the red one had a better adjusting-range i'll combine it with the dbilas exhaustpulley and sel the leftover inletpulley

or just use it as a keychain lol

This morning started with picking up the restored head, all as good as new

Couldn't just sit and watch tv on this rainy day.. so i arranged a place to work on the car indoors (most done outdoors)

Took me some time to get the bottom of because my tools didn't want to fit tru the holes next to the gearbox, so i needed to go shopping again..

Re-using my old carpets..

The toolbench including notebook with opel's TIS software because i never done this before

New tools did the job!

Couln't resist it.. had to use tools...

And pop it comes out!

The oil inlet pipe didn't want to co-operate so i hung m..

p.s. Dont mind the coollant...

Nicely in order but damn dirty!

Enough for today (had to pickup some people) cover it up, tomorrow is cleaning and bore measuring day

cu tomorrow

finaly a little progress.. im not rushing it.. dont need the car that hard (do miss it offcourse) but dont want to do anything wrong

do you think this kit will allow me to keep the sensor?

These look like a good option if you retain your std ecu, think the are so reasonably priced as they are the std ones, cut up with a plate on the front to adjust them.

you shouldn't need any anyways, as you'll go by what the TDC gauge says.

in dutch

boven = top

onder = bottom

uitlaatzijde = exhaustside
