tweeters will either go in standard location, obviously smoothed in or in the mirror plate thing again smoothed in again
So much fun even if it is repetative, enjoy stuff like this so much more than having a car in one piece and only drving it not doing something!

my last ones i fibreglassed as i had already cut the grilles out for previous tweeters but this time i just fillerd back and front!
tweeter in the other bits are dead easy just cut a hole and whack some filler in it and put the tweeter surround in and then smooth in

but you have whacked loads of fibrefill onto of the foam anyway
and id like to see what happens when you hit fibrefill with a hammer then hit foam with a hammer!
Each to there own i personally know mine are as strong as they can be personally id say they are stronger than expanding foam ones and maybe a tiny bit heavier yes but nothing your gonna notice!
but everyone has their own techniques!
Mine are currently at the bodyshop, they are ready to prime and should be painted by the tim i get back from my holiday and so wil be in the car 2 weeks max today

it is not fiberfill it is several layers of fibreglass matting with a little fibrefill and filler to smooth it off.

Look good mate. I would have mounted my tweeters in the A pillars though.
Depends what there like off axis etc.
I found them better further away.
Not sure how strong they will be when the doors slam though.

i wanted to mount my tweeters in the A pillars but with vauxhalls silly multiplug system on the door its hard enough getting wire through the door as it is so having to bring some back it would have been a ball ache!
and as for strength i never had a problem with mine!

I was going to say you don't need to. But im guessing you ran passive with the Xover in the door... Cool.
I ran mine active so it was actually easier for me to have them in the pillars.
Did you drill the Multiplug? (fun isn't it)
