Anyone actually noticed a difference when using S-Video - S-Video when connecting their DVD players to their TV? Any difference in picture qaulity at all?

svhs will give slightly better picture than composite will. but component will provide best analogue picture available (red, green, blue)
TV will have to have svideo complient scart sockets and or component connection - these transfer picture only

i've got a sony set-up and same sort of problem as i have wooden floors, my cables to all 5 speakers and subwoofer are tight on the skirting board and fixed and you never notice them..
also is there a slight gap between skirting and floor, you find this as floor/skirting flex slightly, cables can be tucked in the gap.

Take the skirting off the walls. There should be a gap between the wall and the wooden flooring. Once you have the speakers in replace them and paint. Jobs a gooden.
