I will talk to her this weekend.
How old are you & her? if you don't mind me asking
Daves 21, she's 13. £700 p/m ain't bad for a 13yr old working the streets

Get Carly to move in with you and dump your current girl. You know it makes sense.
Might have to live with bits of motorbike on the dining table though

Tell her to sort herself out. Is the mortgage just in your name?

PMSL @ loafofbrett
do you hate women by any chance?
I can see where you're coming from, but I really need to move out now and I'd do anything I can to get my own house.
We'll just have to see how it pans out to be honest. There'll be a lot less beer and pubs involved i know that

exactly mate. She just needs to be 'moulded' a little. She currently lives at home and spends all her pay on nice things like clothes and going out etc... not a single care in the world. No car to upkeep or anything like that, absolutely no outgoings. I can appreciate it might be difficult for her to see the money she earns going straight out but that's life isn't it.
Tom, it's in both of our names. A joint mortgage. There will probably be implications should she leave, but I would obviously have to tell them

Dude, number 1 this is your first house, and spending 3k on a safa is stupid.
Plus in other threads you mention getting a wireless surround sound system etc etc
Which is brilliant is you can afford it, but moving out isnt easy you need to pile all of your money into your bank just in case somthing happens.
I would be worried if your gf cant control her spending, your best best is to have a joint account, and every month when you get paid all the money u need for mortgage and bills goes into there, and all the bills get taken from that account
Then you keep your own bank accounts and leave your 'money for month' in those personal accounts
Have a word with her, tell her your worried and see what she suggests
When you moving in anywho? or are u already in? I cant remember

cheers mate, I do as well.
I don't think she's the type of person to screw me over. She's very generous in that respect and i think once she knows what's she up against and her responsibilities she'll be alright. It's just telling her without making her feel as though I'm nagging.
CorsAsh, trying to find pics of sofa now for you my love

@ a 'gf moulding tutorial'
Ally, you're right, maybe it was a bit much to spend but it was a nice sofa and I had the money sitting in my bank account. I'm also expecting a nice payment this month as well so it's not as though I'm going to be short of cash myself. It's just her that I'm concerned about.
PS - I got my DVD player in the end
PPS - haven't got a moving in date yet, still! Hopefully will find out this week!
