thing is, a good percentage of the people especially on this site, look after thier cars, yes spme may drive them hard but they wouldnt drive dnagerously enough to crash (hopefully?!) And yes, is PassPlus worth doing? A few of my mates told me that it hasn't really made that much difference to their premium?

hmmm, may have to look into it then! only got a month to book and do it though! But yeh, certain insurance companies dont care if you've done it or not, therfore, it pays to ask the insurer first.

with pass plus it depends on your insurer, its best to ring them in advance and find out what a different would make to your premiums, i havent done mine yet, asked insurers and they said it would either decrease my premium by 30% or i could have 1 NCB

Mine dropped when I was 20, went to £450 fully comp on my tigra all mods declared
And also the corsa is supercharged so would of thought my insurance would shoot thru the roof but it halfed from what the bmw was for me and plus im still insured on the bmw too for that price

Lynny - have you bought your Astra outright or is it under finance?
If it's under finance, you need to have it fully comp I think, not TPFT?

I'm paying the same as you for FC on my Astra - except I'm 25 and have 2yrs NCB!
Oxford was so much cheaper for car insurance.
