i have a 1.0 12v and 2 of my mates have had the 1.2 8v and mine has been quicker than both of theirs...... end of convo, lock it

my 1.0 12v seems to have more higher in the rev range and slightly pulls away from the 1.2 8v in 2nd/3rd

well i have a 1.2 8v and my mate has a 1.0 12V and his is faster but then again his is standard, i have lots of plastics, 16s n heavy sub box which doesnt help things

Also the 1.0 12v is the Ecotec engine and the 1.2 8V is the nova engine

Would never have a 1.0 over the 1.2 8v
I had a 1.2 8v for 3 years and never let me down
It was slow but until you get high powered cars its pointless.
Served me well until i could afford a better car

ive done this race many times.... a 1.2 8v corsa would murder the 1.0 12v 0-60.... the 1.0 12v is way better above 60.... think this might be due to the f13 gearbox though...
both extremely rediculously slow cars mind...

i have relised how nice a corsa looks with a rear gsi spoiler lowered so i have decided plus the are safer and less bucket feeling
