i thoight as mentioned the crash bar was there YES thus making it weak to cut through NO and u dont wanna cut holes either side of plate coz u cant cover it up YES? leave it

UPDATE..........i got the drill out and then..........decided it was going to involve too much effort so left it and went to get my new oil pressure gauge came home and fitted that so i now how a working oil pressure gauge, i feel good about myself now

god damn it jamie, i only just got in out the cold(ish) i feel i may drill it another day! ill leave it in one piece now tho as its geting some mapping done tonight, and if i rip it apart i feel that i wont get it back together again in time for the mapping session

crash bar is behind the bumper... so it wont weaken it.

so if the crash bar is behind the bumper where is the cold air gonna go? that was my point, you'd need to cut the crash bar? and obv u dont wanna do that, thats all i was saying, seem alot of work for little gain
