Unlucky mate, but could always be worse ...

Doesn't look all that bad though ? Would say its a write off if the boot floor has been crumpled etc ?

if the boot floors crumpled it wont get repaired and will definitely be a write off.

As a general rule, they wont repair anything thats not currently in production (finished in 2001) plus what will cost more than 35% of its value to repair (most standard corsas arent worth much)

And with the boot crumpled it'd be written off even if it was nearly new as it shows big chassis problems

Whether or not you claim and lose ncb, they'll still ask if you've had any accidents and you technically should declare it.

If you have the facility to strip it, thats an option. Engine should go for a few hundred, electric bits, clocks, interior maybe even black dash and plastics.

You should expect around 1250 from the insurance as thats what they're going for in the trader. Thats certainly less faffing and a cheaper option than stripping, but you'll lose ncb.

Good news is that Sports are not in short supply for that money.
