Only thing that would put me off is the traders name even though it says HPi clear

Thats the one i saw, yeah i noticed that. Autosalvage or something, just get a copy of HPI report or do one yourself and you cant go wrong though.

must have been crashed etc, as its about 1k to 1.5k under price

Blue one was shocking, the silver was very standard and basic, and had a few large dents in it

I would definately hold out for one with leather if you can afford to as it transforms the inside of the car! Just hard to get hold of at the right price eh!

Guess i was lucky then Did pay £8K for the car tho under 1 year ago; wish i could have kept it but used the money for OZ, the driving of the ATR was better IMO tho; might be worth a look

in standard form, the clio 172 pisses all over the competition!
May get a nice one, then in 18 months - 2 years buy a 2nd hand vxr MM MM

Like them but after test driving one I feel after an XE'd corsa you may be disapointed....

Just rember build quality is very suspect as is the driving position. I'm a short arse and still find the seat too high

Also prone to snapping engine mounts so make sure you get one with a waranty of some sort

Keep looking for Coupe or save some more money, seriously you WANT a Astra don't settle for anything else because you will regret it, especially when most of your friends all own Vauxhalls as well.

Clio 172- But make sure its the cup version- faster, more hardcore, and they do them in a sexy blue colour

I drove a couple before I bought my ITR and they are awesome cars, handling is nearly as good as the Integra

Go drive one, Im sure youll be impressed

There was a ace 200bhp one on Coilovers in the classified a while back

172 - cheaper to buy.

172 cup is also faster than the 182 and 182 cup
