The laquer is fine, that picture is with some solution sprayed onto it to clean it thats all 
SVM, You'll have to wait till there finished Its always dark by the time i get home anyway

The paint will be fine. I take it you used rattle cans from Halfords? In those is Cellulose paint which is the exact same paint that is used to paint cars.

Yep ratle cans from Halfords are being used Ed the finish on them seems really good so hopefully it will be fine ... no reason why not, when my others were done Satin they wernt even laquered and they didnt flake and they were on a good four months.
