no rr is 100% there is always guess work involved but they can be made accurate. depends how often they calibrate them, also depends on the operator.... can get osme shite results if the operator is a bit shite

post up your print out
look mate theres no way you can get 180bhp on a standard Inlet

this is a SBD Kit for the 2lt 16v to make it 180bhp and 160lb/ft
they would people pay for this if you can make it out of a standard XE
what lb/ft did you get.
i know its not nice people slaggin you RR results but i am telling you now they are 20% over they should be.

to give you advice and tell you that they figures they have given you is way off.
you post on a public forum so expect people to post there remarks.
we are telling you not to go back there if that the number they have give you as they rollers are way off and if there setting up your car i would want the RR to be a close as poss. 20% is along way out.....
you sure you havent just added the 20% on yourself?
post your print outs so we can have a look?

it wont be 100% spot on, but close enough, your results seem sensible enough

i standard 1.4 16v makes 88bhp and 92 ft/lb torque so by the sounds of it thats right for you car, looks like whoever writen on the top of the paper (just cos somones writen it on in pen ) has made a mistake and added the 20% on

it will be be a very good educated guess still lol....
iv had my car on the rollers for about 4hours, tyres got very hot, this threw the reading out big time, let them cool down a bit and the results were a bit more accurate....

take them numbers with a pinch of salt mate
it aint that far fetched is it, craigpcg's XE made 167bhp with just a s/s exhaust and an induction kit so one with a ported & polished head and fast road cams must be a good 15bhp+ more

did it occur to u that craigs might have been off aswell?
so any factors can swing the result, air temperature/pressure, tyre heat/pressure and so on

those figures are bollox by the way. a lot of rolling road places will give you higher figures so that everyone is smiling and think that its been a great day and are happy with the service....... then think the place is great and come back time and time again spending more money.
thats why i drive 160 miles to noble motorsport to gem mine mapped and set up. they are honest and will tell you if your car is running shoot.
